The key to our
success can be summed up in one word...
"simplicity."
As with all aspects of our marquee systems,
effecting repairs is also simple. The
guidelines below will help you to maintain
your marquee in as-new condition, ensuring
enjoyment and safety for many years to come.

PVC Canopy Repairs (punctures, tears)
There are two proven ways your roof can be
repaired, but first you'll need to contact
your nearest office to obtain matching patch
material.
1. Take it to a canvas-maker who has a
"High Frequency Welder."
This microwave-energised machine accurately
and locally heats aluminium plates to
physically weld the material together. [best
option]
2. Make the repairs yourself using
special ahdesive
We
recommend Sevylor Seamseal, which is
available from Clark Rubber Stores and
leading swimming pool, leisure, camping and
outdoor living centres.
Starting with a clean roof (both sides),
carefully inspect the roof material to
locate all instances of damage.
Cut the patch to a size that overlaps the
area to be repaired by about 5mm and then
apply the adhesive to the patch and then to
the inside of the roof. Then if possible,
clamp the patch to ensure a good seal all
around.

Scissor Bar Repairs
First, establish the number of replacement
scissor bars you'll need. You are not
restricted to even numbers but carefully
check all bars for "frosting" as well as
cracks at the joining screw points.
Generally, the Joining Screw Assembly is
lost at the site of the incident and you may
need to consider asking for a few of them as
well.
Use an allen key to remove the screws and
broken or damaged arms. Use the joining
screw assembly to make a pair of scissor
bars and insert them into the frame.
You can use a straight allen key in a
cordless drill chuck, but remember to set
the torque control to about 3 when
tightening screws. Any higher and you'll
risk stripping the thread in the Dynidiom
fibre-plastic blocks.
